2019 APS Employee Census - Highlights Report

The APS employee census is an opinion survey administered to all APS employees between May and June each year. The employee census collects information on important workforce issues, such as job satisfaction, employee engagement, performance management, leadership, and general impressions of the APS. Census results are used to inform strategies, policies, and evaluate initiatives. However, they need to be studied in context. They are results from a point in time (May to June 2019) and reflect the perceptions of employees at that time. Due to the timing of the census, the agency-level Highlights report will reflect a summary of the former Department of Jobs and Small Business census results.

Survey methodology, how to interpret results, response rates and representativeness of data will be available on the APSC website.
